The provided breakfast offered a wide variety of options and the quality was very good.
The hotel did everything they could do very well including checking us out one day early. Unfortunately, requests for two weeks to your Change Reservation option reducing my reservation from 2 days to 1 day and refunding the payment were ignored.

The hotel staff was extremely helpful with assisting with a couple problems we encountered not related to their hotel.
Nothing.

Good location , friendly staff. Clean rooms.
The beds where exceptionally hard! The breakfast was ok but nothing special , by the way the coffee awful. Maybe a bit overpriced.

Location was perfect for walking to downtown shops, restaurants, and tour bus pick ups. The breakfast buffet was great with lots of dairy free, vegan and gluten free options available. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was great too!
Everything was great no need to change anything.

The smoked salmon at breakfast was incredible! Best breakfast buffet I've had in a very long time! I'm glad I asked for the mattress topper the second night, it made a big difference. The evening front-desk lady was great & really nice! :)
Comment from the person bringing up the mattress topper about how they were still looking for their life-long partner. (I presume it was meant as commiseration but I was traveling as a single female and felt uncomfortable.)

Excellent breakfast. Largest hotel in Iceland I read. Caters to tour groups and business travelers. Also suitable for independent travelers, but you might find a better deal elsewhere. Located just outside shopping district, but walking distance
Room was hot and couldn't be cooled (no A/C or thermostat, and limited window opening).

We arrived in Reykavik early -- 8 AM -- and despite a 3 PM check-in, the hotel accommodated us and let us up to the room around noon. This was very helpful after a long sleepless flight.
The hotel isn't that close to the bars and restaurants that comprise the majority of Reykvavik nightlife. We walked a lot. It's a nicely-run but fairly generic place.

Size of the room. Very calm. Good breakfast.
Maybe not really in city center (but Reykjavík is a small city). Maybe a little impersonal (it’s a big hotel).
